Frequently asked questions

The objections worth answering before a call

Procurement, data, continuity and independence—answered plainly, once, so a champion can forward the page without rewriting it.

01

Who contracts, and what does procurement receive?

Vikram Jha contracts personally as an individual independent consultant, tax-resident and invoicing from India. Applicable tax documentation, remittance instructions, sanctions declaration and any current insurance certificates are supplied as one controlled diligence packet.

02

Is this a solo practice?

It is principal-led: Vikram Jha is accountable for the advice and the work product, and the person who scopes an engagement is the person who does it. That is deliberate, not a constraint — it is what keeps senior judgment on the work. A second principal is named at contracting for continuity, and specialist engineering capacity is introduced only when an agreed build scope requires it. No undisclosed subcontractor receives client material.

03

Does client data leave our environment?

The default engagement is designed so it does not. Reviews use architecture, policy, inventory and evidence records in the client tenant. Production personal data is neither requested nor required; illustrations use synthetic data.

04

Can you work inside our timezone?

Yes. Working sessions are scheduled in the buyer's local business day across the Gulf, India, the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States. Region-specific windows are published on the contact page.

05

What happens if you become unavailable?

Continuity is a contract term, not a reassurance. Every engagement names a second principal who is disclosed to the client at contracting, under NDA where the client's diligence requires it, and who can take the work forward. Alongside that, deliverables are the client's as they are produced, and decisions, sources, assumptions and open actions are maintained in the client workspace throughout — so a handover starts from a written record rather than from someone's private context. Where a key-person clause is required, it is agreed before signature rather than negotiated after an incident.

06

Why not use a large consulting firm?

Use one when the work is a multi-year transformation requiring a large delivery pyramid. This practice is deliberately bounded: senior judgment stays on the work, the first useful artifact arrives early, and a fixed review can remain a departmental decision rather than a program procurement.

07

Do you recommend your own technology company?

No. Advisory deliverables produce requirements, evaluation criteria and evidence gaps—not a preferred vendor. The independence page publishes the structural safeguards and the client's termination right.

Have a harder objection?

Send the exact procurement or risk question. If the answer changes the engagement boundary, it should be resolved before a proposal—not buried in redlines.
